Located in the heart of White Cliffs Country you are just ten minutes from the port of Dover and ninety minutes from the city of London.
The Accommodation
History positively exudes from the ancient walls of the manor, home for hundreds of years to past kings & queens, movers & shakers. Climb the Jacobean staircase to one of the three four-poster bedrooms where the decor is fitting of a country house and complimented by twenty-first century comforts: crisp cotton linen, digital multi channel flat screen TVs, dvd & cd players, broadband wireless internet.
Stroll across the courtyard to one of fourteen contemporary rooms housed in converted Kentish hay barns, stables and cow sheds surrounding the grand old house. Accommodation is unique, clean, modern and pleasantly furnished. The coffee making facilities, Ren products and dressing gowns are nice touches.
If you fancy a stay with a difference a Tipi can be great fun.18 ft in diameter it has a Queen-sized beds with super-cosy (14 tog) Siberian Goose Down duvets with thick denim covers, extra blankets and goose down pillows. For the cooler months there's an electric heated mattress. This is Glamping with the added bonus of all the hotels facilities on tap.
A touch of luxury
Indulge in a little luxury during your stay by booking a ride in a Helicopter. Definitely a highlight of your holiday, view the beautiful, distinctive and world renowned White Cliffs coastline. The Helicopter is available a number of times per month, so well worth asking about this unique attraction.
There's a Gymnasium next to the converted stables, a relaxation room, and hot spa in another part of the grounds which overlooks the rolling fields to the edge of England. Take time out for a bit of pampering with a luxurious treatment in The Spa. The grounds also offer tennis court, croquet, boules and clay pigeon shooting.

Location and Days Out
The location of this hotel is ideal, having the seclusion that a county house offers, but close to amenities - literally 5 minutes from Dover and 3 minutes from St. Margaret's with a bus stop right outside if needed. There are a number of nearby walks, including the White Cliffs walk, and the award winning eco-centre and gardens of Pines-Calyx. Further afield, this part of world boasts many castles, history (Battle of Hastings), and more beaches. The hotel has recently capitalized upon its unrivalled location to Dover and Folkestone by securing three French Chateaus, which can be offered to guests as part of a longer stay with Wallett's. No more rush day trips to France - you can explore both Kent and Northern France at your leisure.
Lasting Impressions
Wallett's Court Hotel has excellent food, a relaxed ambience and unobtrusive friendly staff. It would be top of my list to stay before travelling on to France.
