Maison Talbooth is a great for a luxury pampering break, not too far from the city, but plenty far enough to escape the madness and relax, unwind in blissful tranquility!

  The Maison Talbooth is a superb award winning luxury boutique hotel in north Essex and part of the Milsom Hotel and Restaurants collection.  It is proud to be the winner of the Pride of Britain's Hotel of the Year 2010. This stunning hotel is located in the lovely Dedham Vale on the border of Suffolk and Essex.  Here you can enjoy a secluded Country Retreat combined with sumptuous luxury suites, elegant fine dining, as well as fabulous Spa and state of the art pool house and leisure facilities.

Maison Talbooth has been recently refurbished to the highest standard and with only 12

superb suites you are made to feel extra special during your stay here.  Each suite has a comfy king size bed, goose feather duvets, crisp cotton sheets and enormous fluffy white towels, robes and slippers. The room décor is classic timeless elegance with  contemporary accessories and the bathrooms feature natural tones with a divine alluring bath and walk-in power shower.  The suites are graded as  Principal,Deluxe, Superior and Standard. All have flat screen TVs and other high tech appliances.

The dining experience here offers a choice of the new Garden Room restaurant as well as the highly renowned Le Talbooth restaurant just a stroll away or the hotel courtesy car can take you there.  Le Talbooth is fine dining at its best, set in a most romantic setting by the banks of the picturesque river Stour. This is perfect for summer evening cocktails and a romantic meal for two.  The Garden restaurant is great for a lazy afternoon lunch or  light snacks during the day. Service is impeccable with the menus offering the best of local and fresh regional produce.  There is an accomplished wine selection available as well as a Champagne list to help get your special occasion off to a sparkly start!

The fabulous indulgent Day Spa is a reason to come here in itself!  Here you can relax and unwind, whether it be with a pampering massage, a revitalizing, personalized treatment, or some calming special grown-up time in the heated pool or outdoor heated hot tubs and sun deck.
