Millbrook Estate is a fantastic place for a romantic getaway and is a stunning and idyllic setting to get married.
Millbrook Cottages specialise in romantic breaks for couples of all ages. Find your little piece of heaven in North Devon. It is an award winning hidden gem offering four boutique 5 star cottages and a luxury B&B suite and a great base to tour Exmoor and all the lovely beaches and fishing villages in North Devon. Millbrook is the perfect sanctuary to relax and spend some quality time together with your loved one. Escape the hectic pace of modern day life and book yourself a break to recharge those batteries - perfect at any time of the year.
The grounds cover an area of 32 acres, which include lawns, 2 lakes, stream, woodland, hot tub and BBQ facilities. As you drive through the gates the grounds are stunning and just wonderful for long romantic walks. The bookable hot tub is a must do - it's in a log cabin in the woods and you can arrange to have champagne and strawberries.
The animals at Millbrook add to the character of the place. What with the goats, chickens, alpacas, geese, cats, dogs and sheep it is quite a menagerie. The coarse fishing lake at Millbrook is free to guests staying on the estate and the lake is stocked with carp and tench and the occasional wild trout of various sizes.

Millbrook is a converted mill with all the historical features you would expect with excellent modern facilities. From the moment you arrive at Millbrook you will feel overwhelmingly welcome and special. The smell of freshly baked loaf in the bread maker as you arrive sets you up for your stay. All of the properties have honesty bars (drinks may vary), with mixers available in the Summer House!
Lakeview is a 'New York' loft style apartment with all the luxuries you expect from a five star abode. The high tech gadget lover will certainly appreciate all the mod cons. The lounge has a 37" LCD Internet TV, Internet Enabled Blu Ray Player, Bose CD and DVD player, Sonos Music system and iPad, Nintendo Wii (with games), portable telephone and free Wi-Fi and wired internet access as well as amazing views over Millbrook and the lake.
The Wheel Room is a wonderful large but cosy property on ground floor level of the mill with double aspect double glazed windows and french doors leading outside.
Corncott is a lovely bright and beautiful 1st floor property situated in the old mill at Millbrook Estate. The original water wheel can be clearly seen through a feature window from the living room and the original beams offer bold statements and a gorgeous feel to the property.
Pulley Mill is located at the top of Mill and is a real gem, due to the extremely high-beamed ceilings and those incredible views.
Dog Friendly Cottages
Millbrook Cottages offers 2 pet Friendly cottages. Dogs are welcome in Corncott and The Wheel Room for £5 per night per dog. The walks around the grounds are perfect for dog lovers, with the meadows, woods and coppices to run through they will be in dog heaven.
Millbrook is perfect for a drive to Barnstaple or Bideford and is close to local amenities. As well as being convenient to the beaches of North Devon, Exmoor, great local pubs, and much much more!
