Rookery Hall is a stunning building with fabulous Spa faclities, great for a country getaway or a pamper weekend with the girls, plenty of golf nearby too!
Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, Cheshire, is a magnificent luxury country house hotel, part of the renowned Handpicked Hotels Collection. Set in its own grounds amidst 38 acres of rolling countryside, it provides a perfect escape from the hustle & bustle, but it's not far away from the glitzy decadence of the Cheshire Life jet set. (Mr & Mrs Beckham became engaged here!)
Only fifteen minute's drive away from the M6, this Georgian style mansion is an ideal country base for those who prefer not to spend all weekend getting there!
All bedrooms have been refurbished to the highest standards combining modern luxuries with classical features in the main building, and with a more contemporary design element in the adjoining west wing rooms. The Drawing Room, Lounge Bar and Oak Restaurant feature elegant classic interiors, with wood panelling and sumptuous furnishings, perfect for afternoon teas or champagne cocktails.
For those wishing to enjoy a special romantic dinner for two, be sure to request a table in the elegant oak panelled dining room overlooking the gardens and woodland by the River Weaver. Chef Mark Walker proudly boasts two AA rosettes, serving local specialties, using the finest local ingredients using where possible sustainable, fair trade, free range, natural or local produce. There is also the more contemporary Café Bar for casual dining which is situated in the Spa building. It's lovely to eat alfresco here looking out onto the gardens and the Cheshire views.
Rookery Hall's dedicated "5 Bubble" Spa experience is a reason in itself to pay a visit. The building has been converted from the old stables block, here there is an 18 metre glass roofed pool with kids free times allocated, a hydrotherapy pool, with sauna and crystal steam room, as well fully equipped fitness facilities. The fabulous Spa is the perfect place to relax and unwind on your country break while indulging in some well deserved pampering.
Here the highly qualified therapists have been trained in various new techniques such as the heated lava stones, Rasul mud treatments, and soon to be available will be the Bamboo body massage. There are 2 ambient relaxation rooms as well and 8 beautiful treatment suites . Only the best products are used such as ESPA and the organic range NEOM.
There is plenty to do here, and should you wish to venture outside of this luxury hotel there are country walks around the grounds and further afield, as well as golf close by and local quaint Cheshire villages.
