Seoint Manor was a stunning surprise, in the heart of beautiful Snowdonia, the perfect country retreat.
Seiont Manor country house hotel Snowdonia, part of the renowned Handpicked Hotel Collection, is a great place for a country getaway. Although classed as a 3 Red Star, its awesome surroundings and large very nicely furnished spacious rooms , many with balconies and all with stunning views, leave you feeling you have had an extra special time away at great value for money.
There are some very good weekend away offers to look out for.
Seiont Manor has been beautifully transformed from an old 18th century farmstead, set in 150 acres of rolling countryside, against a back drop of the Snowdonia national park's diverse landscape. The old and new buildings are carefully matched to remain in keeping with the original character of the building. There are 28 rooms in total, all with stunning views and either a balcony or terrace. Guests have the option of fine dining at the Llwyn Brain Restaurant, (the Grove of the Crows,) or in contrast in the Brasserie in the more modern conservatory, ideal for more casual fayre. There are 2 outside terraces - one by the Brasserie and the other set in the beautiful gardens in view of the rolling countryside.
Locally sourced Snowdonia lamb is a speciality as well as other locally grown produce. The staff are friendly and only too happy to offer suggestions from the extensive wine list.
Seiont Manor has four different lounges to relax in- all of which embrace the luxury country house hotel intimate ambience this hotel has to offer.
There is the snug lounge and library with a log burning fire, perfect to relax in after a day's hill walking. If you prefer not to venture out of the hotel, there is a 40ft indoor heated swimming pool. There are no specified kids' swimming times so its best to go midweek or out of school holidays for a more tranquil swim.
You are welcome to walk around the grounds but please remember to close any gates you use and respect both the land and livestock in the fields. The Hotel will also arrange fishing on their lake, a perfect way to relax on your country break.
There is plenty to do around Snowdonia, there's the mountain railway, Caernarfon castle, the beautiful landscape with numerous lakes and rivers, and pretty picturesque villages such as Betws y Coed and Beddgelert. If you have selected North Wales and Snowdonia National Park as your destination for your country break, then Seiont Manor Hotel is the ideal choice.
