Aleenta Hua Hin, is an idyllic romantic haven. Our stay in the villa right by the vast deserted beach will never be forgotten. Aleenta is a most special place to unwind, relax and make the most of this fabulous location.

Aleenta luxury boutique hideaway resort in Pranburi near Hua Hin Thailand is part of the renowned Small Luxury Hotels of the world collection.  Upon arrival, my husband and I knew we were in for a treat.  We were warmly greeted with a cooling flannel and a delicious thirst quenching exotic fruit drink, and then led along the wooded pathway to our beach front villa right by the Gulf of Thailand sea.

The cabanna style villa was amazing , circular in shape with full length shutter window doors opening out to view the expanse of vast beach and ocean. We had left the kids behind with family in Hua Hin and Aleenta's carefully selected music greeted us from the Ipod and immediately set the scene for our romantic getaway. The bamboo dome shaped ceiling with suspended fan and mood lighting added to the ambience and the outdoor private infinity plunge pool was an additional lovely surprise. The (enclosed) outdoor shower was a bit scary at first due to my constant mozzy attraction, nevertheless , this was a moment to make the most of and my mozzy fears were soon forgotten.

Aleenta has carefully been designed for privacy and romance in mind. The resort is split on two sites, ours ( the main wing ) does not accommodate kids, so your garden and beach front area will remain quiet and peaceful. We decided to take a walk along the vast stretch of beach, it began to rain and we saw the most amazing double rainbows fragmented across the horizon,  providing a silhouette of the local fishing boat just getting ready to sail out for the evening.

Later on I was treated to a massage to help me unwind .This was in the beautiful private spa area, although I have vowed to return next year when the new roof top sea view spa sala is completed, that is surely to be the icing on the cake here!!

The roof top restaurant serves a Thai and Western menu using fresh seafood and local produce where ever possible. The gourmet breakfast will set you up for the day and if you do feel like being energetic, there planned activities to join should you wish and day trips out to nearby attractions.

In my view , this is the perfect place for a complete heavenly hideaway, easily accessible about 3 hours drive south from Bangkok Just pack your bag and head for Aleenta, Hua Hin Pranburi, and if you fancy a change you can also take a visit to the Phuket resort where the Aleenta concept takes on another dimension.  I strongly recommend to check out the Aleenta website to discover more about this hidden gem!
