Chatsworth, Bakewell, Derbyshire

Chatsworth's tradition of welcoming every visitor warmly continues in 2010, with more free daily talks in the house, garden and farmyard. Visitors are encouraged to quiz our friendly team to discover more about the intriguing people and events that have shaped Chatsworth's history over five centuries.

Every year, our skilled staff and valued guests put on a truly varied programme, spanning everything from farmyard and garden discovery days for children, to gourmet extravaganzas in the restaurant, that gives you the opportunity to get much more from your visit. Our hope is that by trying your hand at something new, improving on an existing hobby or skill, or just enjoying the chance to learn something from an enthusiastic expert, you will be entertained and have fun, which is what makes any day out worthwhile.
