The hotel has been beautifully transformed since it was acquired by Andrew and Christina Brownsword who have exquisitely combined the original architectural features of this Arts and Crafts building with carefully selected contemporary and period furnishings. The owners' private collection of unique turn of the century artworks are on display complementing the decor and adding real personality to this heavenly hideaway.
Your drive up the winding private lane enables you to embrace the stunning landscaped gardens and woodland covering 107 acres and blessed with the delightful North Teign River running through. This is the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable grown up getaway.
There are just 24 resplendent bedrooms here, again each has been tenderly individually furnished to the highest spec and luxurious comfort is key. Most couples who visit here tend to sit back, relax and unwind, taking in the outstanding scenery with a glass of wine on the terrace, or warming up by the log fire with a brandy after dinner.
