Hallmark Hotel Manchester is excellent value for money accommodation for a Cheshire shopping or cultural break,or an airport stopover deal.
Ideally located in its own grounds just a few miles from Manchester Airport, the Hallmark Hotel Manchester has undergone a recent complete renovation. The 88 bedrooms have been decorated in clean modern colours and the bathrooms are tastefully furnished with slate tiled floors and shiny chrome showerheads. There is a relaxing and very pleasant ambience
The main advantage of this hotel lies in its convenient location, and we can recommend the excellent "Airport Stopover" package. A one night stay with 14 nights' car parking and a taxi transfer to Manchester Airport is currently on offer for just £109. The proximity of some excellent nearby shops is an extra bonus and you'll find a large Marks and Spencer's store at Handforth Dean and a sizeable John Lewis Store only 5 minutes away. There is also a well-stocked Lakeland Store directly opposite the hotel. The local designer shops and cafe bar culture in nearby Wilmslow and Alderley Edge give you the chance to take a glimpse of the glitzy decadence of the Cheshire jet set.
There are plenty of interesting and picturesque places to visit in the area, including the nearby towns of Knutsford and Prestbury, as well as various rural and mythical attractions such as Alderley Edge, Hare Hill Garden and Tatton Park. Indeed, the Hallmark Hotel Manchester would provide a convenient and well-priced base when visiting the hugely popular Tatton Flower Show which takes place every summer. If you would prefer a round of golf, a nearby golf club offers preferential rates to guests.
The hotel offers themed entertainment nights and this year's line up includes a monthly cabaret night with themes such as Thriller and Fake That.
There is also Double Decade night and a Soul and Motown extravaganza.
However, if you'd rather have a quiet dining experience, there is an excellent selection of meal choices on offer in the Brasserie restaurant and the food is tasty and well-presented. A tapas bar is also open in the early evening if something less formal is required. Business travellers' needs are catered for with wi-fi provision, private meeting rooms and discreet dining booths in the restaurant.
The adjoining spa area has a good-sized swimming pool, a sauna and solarium, a Jacuzzi, a well equipped gymnasium and two treatment rooms. The staff are friendly and welcoming, a range of treatments are offered and fresh towels are provided. To summarize, this boutique inspired hotel provides excellent value-for-money in a convenient and pleasant location.
