The Commercial Restaurant is great for afternoon drinks and a relaxing meal, or you can enjoy fabulous dinner for two in the most ambient surroundings.

The Commercial Restaurant and Bar in Chester is an individual and characteristic dining experience right in the heart of Chester's vibrant Historic City Centre, nestled away in St Peter's Courtyard just off Northgate Street.  This was a former spit and sawdust pub that has been completely renovated and magically transformed into a vibrant restaurant and bar. This is also a fabulous boutique hotel should you wish to extend your stay longer than planned!  Head Chef William Brade is proud of the Commercial's continuing reputation for excellent dining and serves a traditional British menu with a modern twist.  All food is freshly cooked using local and regional ingredients where possible.  There are 2 Bars and the Brasserie on the ground floor and Harrisons Restaurant and cocktail bar on the first floor.  Lavish decor and unique artworks throughout add to the quirky ambience of this fabulous city centre restaurant.

This is ideal for lazy afternoon drinks and lunch, a romantic Champagne dinner for two, or a fun filled celebration meal with friends. Whatever the occasion, this is a great place to visit.
