Real rock skills - outdoor courses

Kendal is superbly placed to access some of the finest climbing in Britain, of all grades. Note that the minimum age for outdoor courses is 18, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

• Taster Days - A great introduction to climbing outdoors. No prior climbing experience needed.
  
• Introduction to Climbing Outdoors -  A more in depth look at climbing outdoors.
• Rock Improvers - This is the obvious next step, leading on from our Introductory Course, or for those people with a basic level of climbing experience.
  
• Private Guiding - If you have specific objectives or just want to go at your own pace without the pressure of others then Private Guiding may be for you.

The Lakeland Climbing Centre offers a unique opportunity to experienced climbers and beginners alike. Get your first taste of climbing in our unique centre, on one of our beginners courses, taster sessions or with an experienced friend. If you've progressed beyond this stage, you'll find we have one of the best indoor facilities anywhere.
