You will be captivated by Lantallack's scenic splendour

Lantallack is a special place to stay and an absolute gem for a grown-up getaway in Cornwall. Peaceful and enchanting with stunning un-spoilt countryside views, a stay here will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The sunsets are a joy to behold as Lantallack is situated in one of the most peaceful and beautiful valleys in South East Cornwall. With 40 acres of pasture, streams and woodland to explore on your doorstep it is a beautiful place for artists to be inspired, especially in springtime when there is a profusion of colour with snowdrops, primroses, wild daffodils, bluebells, foxgloves and campion. Ideally located, just a short hop off the main A38, makes Lantallack a perfect base for touring Devon and Cornwall

The Accommodation

Lantallack has been renovated to create a tasteful combination of character and contemporary style. It offers two individually designed, light and airy, luxury en-suite bedrooms within the Georgian Farmhouse and two stunning self-catering holiday cottages.

Pippin Cottage, can accommodate 6 guests, hasbeen beautifully converted using a perfect mix of traditional and modern styles. This delightful secluded cottage, once Lantallack's old coach house, has stunning views over undulating hills and wooded valleys. It is the perfect spot to watch the Cornish sun go down.

Polly's Bower is an idyllic romantic hideaway for 2 people with stunning views over unspoilt countryside. Beautifully converted from the old cider barn, Polly's Bower offers luxurious accommodation with every aspect of craftsmanship and detail taken into account. Furnished with a perfect mix of traditional and modern styles, it is a charming open-plan space with whitewash and old beams, wood-burner and freestanding tub.

The Award Wining Bed and Breakfast

Within the owners Georgian Farmhouse is the 5-star Gold Award accommodation, in two double bedrooms (one en suite, the other with private bathroom). Both are inviting with deliciously comfortable beds, pretty cushions/throws and extra treats. There is a delightful sitting room in which to relax with TV, hi-fi, a good collection of books and a blazing log fire on cold days and for those who like music there are two grand pianos to play. Breakfast is delicious with organic yoghurt and Muesli, fruit, our own free-range eggs, local smoked bacon and sausage, croissants and a selection of warm breads fresh from the Aga.

From May - September, guests can enjoy the use of a large outdoor heated swimming pool, with barbecue facilities and glorious views over the valley. Informality is the keynote of holidays at Lantallack and the owners are very charming and helpful and make you feel absolutely 'at home' in an instant. The owners are incredibly discreet and leave you completely in peace if you don't want to be disturbed or are on hand if you need something.

Step back in time - life goes slowly here. Hens in the orchard, delicious breakfasts in the walled garden with apple juice produced from the owners Cornish apple trees, sausages and bacon from the resident pigs - all produced by using organic methods.
