This
beautifully renovated manor house is perfect for a grown-up getaway with 2
spacious living areas and a games room. The huge walled garden offers sun and
shade at all times of day and the courtyard heated pool is wonderfully
sheltered with direct access to the garden. Just outside the kitchen window and
within the shade of centuries old pine tree is the outdoor dining area, a
perfect spot to relax and enjoy the calm of the garden. For adults it is
elegant, relaxing, well equipped and there are plenty of places to sneak off
with a book! The property has been decorated keeping the original character
features, such as the original stoned staircase, exposed beams and an ancient
front door, whilst adding all the important modern touches such as a fully
equipped kitchen, brand new modern bathrooms, wi-fi and air conditioning.
The Accommodation
The 7 bedrooms are split into 3 'wings'. On the first floor, the 'right wing' has 2 bedrooms. Both bedrooms have twin beds, one of which can be turned into a double. There is also a large family bathroom with roll top bath. The 'left wing' has 1 twin bedroom, 2 double bedrooms, one with an en-suite with shower. There is also a family bathroom.
On the second floor there are 2 further bedrooms, 1 twin, 1 double, and a bathroom with shower and WC. There is also a games room for children to play. The 4 bathrooms are modern and have beautiful travertine floor tiles. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, large fridge/freezer, leading directly onto the dining room.
Dining room: Large table which seats 10. With 2 doors, 1 leading to the courtyard pool area, the other leading to the terrace and garden.
Living room: There are 2 separate lounges, both of which have TV with english freesat channels. This is ideal to have separate adults' and children's sitting rooms.
There is a games room on the top floor for teenagers and kids to have their own fun. Linen, towels and pool towels are provided, changed weekly.
Outside: Terraced dining with BBQ. Courtyard heated pool 10 x 4m with electric security cover which conforms to French law. Huge private garden surrounded by a high wall with hundred years old pine trees. You'll always find a shady spot to curl up with a book.
Location and Travel Arrangements
Adissan is found in Hérault in the Languedoc Roussillon region of France. The closest airport to Adissan is Beziers Airport (24 km) also nearby is Montpellier Airport (42 km). Surrounded by vines, the village has all the amenities you need. It is renowned for being the producer of 'Clairette', a typical wine from the region. You can visit its 12th century church, Saint Adrien's. It is 15 minutes from Pézénas, where you will find a fantastic market every Saturday. At just 35 minutes from the beach, it is an ideal location to cater for all tastes!
