No 53 Durweston is a luxury boutique thatched cottage, nestled right in the heart of the quintessentially English picturesque village of Durweston, amidst stunning Dorset countryside. This is a heavenly hideaway, perfect for a romantic break or a getaway with another couple of friends. The owners have lovingly restored this 18^th century 2 bed cottage, ensuring that you have all the luxury comforts of modern life, combined with authentic decor and furniture that add to the unique ambience of this most enchanting boutique cottage.  This is only around 30 minutes from Bournemouth or 1 hour from the M5 so it's easily accessible from the south coast or the motorway network, yet once inside this blissful hideaway, you can easily escape the madness you have left behind.

On arrival you will be warmly welcomed with flowers and chocolates and if it's an extra special occasion- Champagne too.  All rooms are furnished to the highest standard in keeping with the cottage's traditional heritage and blending perfectly with modern accessories such as unique artworks and high tech flat screen TV, Wifi. The bedrooms are most tastefully decorated with a light and airy feel, with super comfy antique beds and crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen , robes, soft sumptuous pillows and throws to make you feel it's your special grown up home from home.

The kitchen is fully equipped and also comes with cookery books and fresh garden herbs. Leading out from the kitchen is the quaint back garden and sun terrace, perfect for dining alfresco on a romantic summer's evening. There is plenty to do around the village, it's only a few minutes' walk to the local village pub or a stroll across the fields to the next one.

The surrounding rolling countryside is perfect for afternoon walks, and within 35 minutes drive is the beautiful Jurassic Coast, including Lulworth Cove, the Poole Sandbanks beach and Shell Bay. There is also a choice of several golf courses within easy reach, as well as outdoor activities available such as cycling, horse riding and water sports.
