Five luxury award-winning barns, located close to Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham, have been sensitively converted into beautiful self-catering holiday cottages. The spacious open plan interiors are complemented with antique and contemporary furnishings, whilst light streams in through dramatic windows for you to enjoy the surrounding views. The unashamed use of colour against the backdrop of exposed brickwork and featured beams creates some of the most stylish and contemporary self-catering holiday cottages I have ever encountered.

Each spacious barn has a distinctive individual interior ranging from contemporary Scandinavian to Middle Eastern influence. The Great East Barn is the largest. It sleeps 14 guests and can be booked with Long Meadow (which sleeps 8) in order to accommodate family or friends' get-togethers of up to 22. Grey's Court sleeps 10, High Barsham sleeps 12 and Little Barsham sleeps 4. Each has a private garden just perfect for sipping the odd glass of wine on a balmy evening.

All barns at North Barsham share a spa room which can be booked for exclusive access to the luxurious jacuzzi pool or you can chill out in the steamroom. Also available are two games rooms, one with table tennis and darts and one with table football. The delights of the north Norfolk coast are within easy reach, being only 5 miles away.

Each barn has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need for entertaining including oven, microwave/combination oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, food processor, washing machine, tumble dryer, or washer/dryer. There are wood burning stoves which function as an open fire. Bed-linen and bath towels are provided - you only need to bring your beach towels. A welcome hamper awaits your arrival and is packed full of tempting goodies including milk, bread, cereal, wine, biscuits, fruit, cheese, butter and juice.

Mountain bikes are available for hire if booked in advance. The services of a local chef can be arranged for either drop-off meals or in-house catering. Enjoy a bit of well-deserved pampering by engaging the services of a visiting beauty therapist. Fresh produce is available from a fantastic farm shop less than 2 miles away in Little Walsingham. A highly recommended sandy beach can be found at Wells-next-the-Sea (complete with beach huts to rent) 5 miles away. The Victoria pub at Holkham is 15 minutes drive (also a great beach walk).The coast from Hunstanton to Cley-next-the-Sea is a bird watchers' paradise. Head to Blakeney for a boat trip to see the seal colony then walk along the coastal path to Cley-next-the-Sea.
