The Old Quay House Fowey is a luxury boutique hotel hosting one of the best estuary views in Cornwall. Fowey is a beautiful Cornish holiday town with steep narrow streets winding down to the picturesque river estuary and The Old Quay House enjoys one of the finest locations right by the harbour, the friendly staff are happy to arrange a picnic hamper and a boat pick up here to take you out for the day!

It's a lovely luxurious boutique hotel with a stunning terrace where you can eat, drink, relax and watch the boats sailing slowly along the estuary. The Veuve Clicquot parasols on the terrace contribute to the upmarket holiday mood and it's a fabulous spot in which to spend a relaxing hour or two over a few glasses of wine.   

The reception area and lobby is welcoming and cosy, decorated in rich earthy colours, and the hotel staff are unfailingly helpful and attentive. The hotel has eleven elegant bedrooms, all furnished to the highest standards and decorated in clean shades of cream and white, creating a refreshing coastal feel throughout. The bedrooms all have their own individual character, all of them comfortable and alluring. Whilst one has a four poster bed, another room is dominated by an ornate Morrocan mirror and others have stylish Juliette balconies overlooking the waterfront.

 Guests come from afar to the renowned  Q restaurant which has  seating for up to 38 people in an immaculate waterside dining area. Seafood is a particular speciality and the menu includes local delicacies such as Cornish river oysters and pan fried Cornish scallops. The champagne bar adds to the luxury ambience that oozes throughout.

The Old Quay House is an ideal place to stay in whilst exploring the nearby beauty spots. There are ferry services taking you across the river to the beautiful fishing port of Polruan , or to Bodinnick  and Mevagissey.  

The hotel is right in the centre of the town and all you have to do is walk out of the hotel door to find yourself on Fowey's narrow bustling main street, with its quirky shops and fabulous restaurants and pubs.
