Stoke Place is a wonderful country escape within easy reach of the big smoke!

Stoke Place is a modern luxury country house hotel only 30 minutes away from central London. It is classified as a 4* Hotel by the AA Hotel Guide and has been awarded 2 Rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide. This is the perfect chance to escape from the city smoke, relax, unwind and explore the surrounding 26 acres of rolling parkland and abundant wildlife.

This former Queen Anne Manor House has managed to hold on to all of its authentic charms from the past, whilst providing you the best in comfy luxury accommodation with all the modern amenities expected in today's world .
There are 40 bedrooms here, all tastefully decorated with wonderful views over the stunning grounds and countryside. The rooms are full of individual, quirky touches that combine traditional architecture with contemporary British design, providing traditionally hand-sprung mattresses, pure cotton sheets, luxurious bathrooms, flat screen TVs, 24 hour room service and access to a substantial film library.
Rooms are graded into 5 categories to suit your budget, ranging from smaller to spacious: 'Double': Smaller, individually shaped rooms in the main house with modern bathrooms and lovely views.
'Garden': A set of bedrooms in the old walled kitchen garden area offering fantastic views of the grounds with stripped wooden floors and modern bathrooms.
'Executive': Larger, individually shaped rooms in the main house with modern bathrooms and lovely views of the grounds.
'Cottage': A set of spacious bedrooms near the entrance of Stoke Place with large bathrooms and luxury Edwardian-style freestanding baths.
'Suites': Large bedrooms, with enormous beds, some with huge bay windows and all offering fantastic views across the grounds, modern bathrooms with luxury Edwardian-style freestanding baths.
There is plenty to do here at Stoke Place. You can take a romantic stroll around the 26 acres of gardens or spend some "you" time fishing at the lake. Homemade picnics or champagne hampers can be provided for a delightful afternoon lunch by the lake.
