Delicious food served with true Yorkshire hospitality!

This is a perfect hideaway restaurant and well worth a visit. The Feversham Arms has been beautifully transformed in to a 4 star luxury boutique spa hotel and this elegant restaurant is definitely worth visiting.

On entry to the restaurant we were taken to the sumptuous library area, treated to a glass of Champagne and presented with the extensive menus to select from. It was midweek in April and the restaurant was busy, but not overcrowded. The restaurant manager carefully explained the set menu on offer and also gave friendly advice on the wine selection for our meal.

Shortly after we were led to our table in the dining room, furnished with lavish rich colours and textured fabrics. The restaurant looks out onto the centrepiece courtyard and the stunningly lit pool. It is also possible to dine on the outside terrace in the summer months.

The menu is fine British dining, with locally sourced produce, such as game, east coast fish, and organic vegetables, prepared and cooked with the famous Yorkshire hospitality at the forefront. The cheeseboard selection (and portion size) is the largest I have seen. This is truly a great restaurant on all scores for food ,service and ambience. It is advised to make reservations during busy times.
