The Green House is a beautiful eco boutique hotel, a perfect treat for your romantic break.

The Green House Eco Boutique Hotel, Bournemouth is a rare example of stunning luxury that isn't afforded at the expense of the environment.  Here you can enjoy your coastal break in complete luxury, safe in the knowledge that you have contributed to the Green House ethos whereby every part of the hotel has been designed with the long term protection of the environment in mind.

Sustainability is key here, as well as the ethos to work with as many local and other UK suppliers as possible.  A great deal of time and effort has gone into designing and sourcing the interiors.  The contemporary soft furnishings are all bespoke woven fabrics from Scotland.  The curtains and blinds are 100% wool, and as a natural fire retardant, do not require any chemical FR treatments. Wooden tables in the restaurant have been exquisitely reworked from former pub tables and the delightful stand alone Victorian roll top baths in the bedrooms are perfectly reconditioned originals, unlike other hotels who have " mock " Victorian baths as a "feature"!

The intelligent lighting lights up the stairs as you ascend and the TVs are low energy as well as the room lights. You wont find any Evian or Perrier here, simply water filtered and bottled on site, available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Each of the 32 bedrooms features modern contemporary interiors with all natural UK made materials. There are no faux silk polyester satins, nor any plastic milk containers for your tea and coffee. There is a fridge on each landing with complementary fresh milk and fresh baked home-made biscuits.  The sumptuous beds are UK made, as well as the bathroom tiles and the natural toiletries by Liberty and Green.   Linens again are natural organic fabrics with organic goose down duvets and crisp white organic cotton sheets.

The bar area is very welcoming and serves local beers and organic spirits, here the innovative wine list has been carefully selected, comprising organic and biodynamic wines  also taking into account  the carbon footprint of every bottle.

The Arbor Restaurant is renowned for its 9 course tasting menu and the award winning Head Chef Gordon Jones is proud of the delicious organic and other locally sourced produce, and fresh fish and sea food, used to provide the innovative and inspiring menus.  This is perfect for a romantic dinner for two, or for a light lunch before an afternoon on the beach.
