This is a lovely romantic escape!

The Olde Bell is a romantic modern coaching inn, in Hurley, Berkshire, only 45 minutes from London so is easily reachable for your escape from the city. The restaurant has been awarded 2 Rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide, and the exquisitely refurbished accommodation has been classified a 5* Inn by the AA Hotel Guide.

The Inn is set in historic timber framed buildings with 50 bedrooms in total situated either in the main inn or in one of the surrounding village like lodgings. Take a step back in history and absorb the ambience created by the original wooden beams, low ceilings and classic ornate furnishings. All rooms are sumptuously decorated with your comfort and luxurious relaxation in mind. Pristine high count cotton sheets and cosy woollen throws provide a perfect home from home setting.
Rooms are graded into 5 types of accommodation. In the Main Inn & Malt House there are the (Larger) Ilse Crawford rooms with enormous beds and claw foot baths in the bedrooms, separate bathrooms with rainforest showers. Here there are also slightly smaller Ilse Crawford rooms with all the same comforts minus the bath, separate bathrooms with rainforest showers only.
The Cottage comprises a range of small to medium Ilse Crawford rooms with exposed beams and unique layouts, separate bathrooms with rainforest showers only. If you are celebrating a weekend away with friends then the converted Brick Barn provides large rooms with enormous beds and separate bathrooms with rainforest showers only, perfect for sharing and set away from the Main Inn.
The Tithe Barn Bolthole rooms are comfy and delightfully furnished with fantastic beds and newly refurbished bathrooms & rainforest showers only. Located in a one story building behind the tithe barn, the bedrooms open directly onto a small courtyard which is lovely for alfresco breakfast in the summer or a cooling glass of bubbly on a warm sunny evening.

Last but not least there are the Bell Lodge Bolthole rooms with fantastic beds and newly refurbished bathrooms with rainforest showers only. These are situated in a one story building opposite the Main Inn.
The Inn is part of the Dhillon Group of Hotels and Inns and was designed and created by owners Tej and Sarina Dhillon with the celebrated designer Ilse Crawford (portfolio includes Soho House New York, Grand Hotel Stockholm, Cecconis, and more). The concept here is to offer you the perfect grown-up get away with traditional luxurious hospitality in a warm and friendly ambience. As mentioned above the restaurant is also highly acclaimed with Head Chef Warren Geraghty at the helm. Warren and his team take pride in using locally grown, seasonal produce served with a caring spirit and a wanting for you to enjoy your special time away. The kitchen garden located in one of the old walled gardens serves 30% of the kitchens herb, fruit and vegetable supply - it also provides a lovely walk around the fruit cages and green house where the head garden can often be found answering guests' gardening questions! The wild meadow garden at the end of the main inn garden has grassy secluded areas for picnics and walk ways leading around and through the idyllic wooded area. The restaurant's terrace, shaded by apple trees and large umbrellas allows for all year outside dining, especially busy on the weekends when the summer kitchen is in full swing serving grilled meats and fish, seasonal salads from the bell's kitchen garden and local wines and ales.
Should you wish to explore the local surroundings then Henley on Thames is nearby, ideal for quiet country walks and a romantic river cruises.
