The renowned Olive Tree Restaurant at the boutique Green Bough Hotel in Chester, is situated just a short walk from the City Centre. The restaurant, tastefully furnished and in keeping with the rest of the lavish decor in this delightful boutique hotel, is extremely popular with Cestrians and outside visitors. It doesn't take long to find out why! This is high quality fine dining in a relaxed and unpretentious setting.

Head Chef Neil Griffiths and his team offer a wide ranging classic British menu with creative influence, using the best of local, regional and seasonal produce, such as twice roasted Welsh lamb with redcurrant and mint reduction, or Gressingham duck breast. There is a three course choice menu, a la carte menu as well as a taster menu to choose from.

This is a great "boutique" restaurant for your romantic meal for two. There are no children allowed here, so you can be assured of a tranquil and blissful evening with no noisy little ones disturbing your well deserved special time together. You are also welcome to come for Champagne Afternoon Tea, or before dinner you can enjoy a cocktail or a Gin and Tonic on the roof terrace and let the world pass by.
