This is a small, family run hotel, owned and managed by Rachel and Calum Ross and the friendly relaxed atmosphere prevails throughout. In a stunning setting, the view from my large balcony was amazing as the sun came out across the bay. The sea was so calm and tranquil, perfect for an afternoon walk before dinner at the hotels superb Asknish Bay fine dining restaurant.
This luxury boutique hotel overlooks Fowey’s picturesque harbour and the hotel terrace is a lovely spot for whiling away the hours with a drink or two. There are eleven spotless and beautifully furnished bedrooms, some with balconies. The hotel’s Q restaurant seats up to 38 people, with seafood dishes a speciality. The Old Quay House is very handy for the shops and pubs in the pretty and bustling town of Fowey and it’s a wonderful choice for a refreshing coastal break.
